How to master TISS CUET-PG Grammar in 6 easy steps

CUET PG 2024

The English Proficiency section of the TISS CUET-PG 2024 examination tests the candidate’s verbal ability with questions based on Reading comprehension, Word Choice/sentence correction, odd-one-out analogies, grammar, etc. The TISS CUET-PG verbal ability section consists of 30 questions and it is considered one of the easier sections of the TISS CUET-PG 2024 examination when compared to the Quantitative Aptitude, Logical reasoning and General Awareness section. It is only when the candidate knows the right TISS CUET-PG preparation strategy to be followed for this section. In our several years of experience in training CUET-PG candidates for success, we have seen that students face difficulties in spotting the error  in a given sentence, comprehending RC passages as well as arranging right orders in Para-Jumbles.

We at VAIR have designed such a learning pedagogy with our Verbal Ability Experts which ultimately will help you in getting maximum marks in TISS CUET-PG Verbal Ability Section. These strategies have been designed for many years now which has been helping many candidates in maximizing their overall TISS CUET-PG 2024 score.

Step 1: Approach Systematically

approach

The verbal ability section should be approached in a systematic manner by the candidates, before starting their preparation one must refer to the syllabus given on the official TISS website and make a note of it, after that is done the next step should be to go through the Verbal Ability section of the past year papers to understand the weightage of each sub-topic in the CUET-PG 2024 papers. An ideal way to move forward with the CUET-PG Verbal Ability section would be to solve past year's TISS CUET-PG paper and keep a record of the score. After solving the paper, aspirants would be well aware of their "STRONG"and "WEAK" areas.

STEP 2: Read as much as you can

read

Reading with understanding plays a vital role in cracking Reading Comprehension (RC) Passages in TISS CUET-PG 2024 Verbal Ability Section. Every topper has emphasized that you should start reading newspapers and novels to prepare yourself for the reading comprehension section. It Increases your reading speed, retention power, and comprehension ability by reading a diverse set of topics every day. It will also help you to get a strong hold on the language, which is beneficial for the subsequent rounds of the TISS CUET-PG examination.

Step 3: Right Resources

resources

While preparing for the TISS CUET-PG 2024 exam, it is important to follow a single reliable resource instead of going for multiple resources which might create a lot of confusion. Step 4: Improve your Vocabulary

dictionary

One good way to improve your vocabulary is to make notes of the words which you are unaware of every time you are reading something, followed by looking up not only the meaning of the word but also the synonyms and antonyms. Since there are a large number of words in the English language that cannot be possibly covered in the short duration of TISS CUET-PG preparation, so it is important to contextualize a given word be it in the reading comprehension or independent vocabulary question and use elimination to select the right answer.

Step 5: Practice Verbal Ability

practice

TISS CUET-PG aspirants should practice a lot of questions, mock papers, and test series from reliable sources to strengthen their verbal ability section, rather than going through all the grammar rules. A better strategy would be to practice questions by understanding concepts that are new and difficult. The more you practice the more accurately you will be able to answer the questions in the CUET-PG 2024 examination.

Step 6: Analyze Mocks

analyze

While attempting mock tests which is very crucial for TISS CUET-PG 2024 preparation, but do you know what strategy will help you more?
